User Security Group

User groups are used to associate user login's with security authorities to perform functions.

A user must belong to at least one group, and may belong to as many groups as necessary.

Security for all functions is then assigned to groups, and the user's belonging to those groups inherit the permissions of the group. So if a particular group has permission to add new events, for example, all users in that group can add new events.

In the unlikely event that custom permissions are required for one user, a group can simply be created with only one member.

Field Description
User Group The name of the user group being defined.
User Group Description A friendly name of this group.
Login Event When a member of this group logs in, should a particular system event notification be triggered. For more about System events click here.
